Beyond the ordinary
This is a personal portfolio showcasing all of my work over the span of this course. It will include nature and macro photography. If you have any questions feel free to reach out to me at alexisdunavant@gmail.com

Orchid. I took this photo because it almost made the orchid look textured with all of the raindrops spaced so perfectly. I reallu love how the pink on this pops. I upped the saturation just a tiny bit to make the colors stand off a little bit. It also made the raindrops look more visible.

This is a pine tree branch that fell off in my driveway. The rain droplets were perfectly standing off each little pine needle. To me this picture almost gives the effect of snow, or frost.

Apple tree. The water droplets on this apple made it look like a super ripe, juicy apple. This has no editing, just raw color!

Rose. This rose flower has not yet opened, but I really love how the water droplets look on a red background. Alike the apple!

This is a picture of the water droplets on my car door mirror. This has no specifics, I just thought it always looked pretty, and I finally had the chance to photograph it. For me this picture gives off a very homey, rainy, warm, fall, vibe.

Grass. This was my first picture I took for this assignment. I was just trying to see hwo to focus on the water droplets properly. I really love how all the droplets are different in size.

I picked this clover out of the grass and set it on my drivewa to get a photo. I just wanted to isolate the clover to truly show its beauty.

Juniper Bush. This photo was taken on one of my mothers juniper bushes. What stood out to me on this was how the water droplets are perfectly stood on top of each little needle and not on the whole bush.
